Water (October, 2006)

In conjunction with non-profit organization, The Samburu Project, LA ArtLab presented “WATER,” an exhibit of artworks based on the theme of the same name at Anthony Nex Studios in Culver City, California.

The WATER exhibit presented new works from more than a dozen innovative emerging artists in the LA ArtLab collective. Pieces on display included installation, mixed media, painting, photography and video works. 50% of all WATER art sale proceeds benefited The Samburu Project.

As part of The Samburu Project’s annual fundraiser, LA ArtLab's WATER exhibit provided visual context to help raise funds so that The Samburu Project could continue its mission of building wells in Samburu, Kenya, an African community that lacks one of life’s most basic needs: water. Since the WATER show in 2006, The Samburu Project has continued its mission. For more information on the organization's impressive progress visit, The Samburu Project.
